1. How to start online psychotherapy at Sunbirds?

The whole process is very simple and intuitive. Just choose the therapist you want to schedule an initial consultation or individual psychotherapy with. After making your choice, check the availability of the person and book a visit at a time convenient for you using our calendar.

After paying for the visit, everything is ready. All that’s left is to prepare for the online conversation. Remember that it should be a time and place where you can speak freely and no one will interrupt you. You can have everything you need at hand, e.g. a warm drink, a blanket or tissues. If you are using headphones with a microphone, be sure to check in advance whether they are working properly. Remember, the session is time for you, it should go without any disruptions.

2. How to book an appointment?

You book your appointment using our calendar. In the form, you select the category of services (initial consultation or individual psychotherapy) and the therapist.

After selecting the appropriate person, the calendar below will display available dates, and after clicking on the date, the hours.

The hours highlighted in red are already taken, but you can sign up for the reserve list. The rest are at your disposal.

After selecting the appropriate date and entering any comments in the field below, you go to the summary. There you can check the details of the visit. If everything is correct, fill in the field with contact details, choose the payment method and click the “Send” button. A window will appear with confirmation of the booking and that’s it. All that remains is to prepare for the meeting, as in point 1.

3. Are online conversations with a therapist safe?

Absolutely, we only focus on proven forms of therapy. Online therapy is just as effective, valuable and safe as therapy conducted in a physical office. If you have concerns about the messenger, we are open to other proposals for technological solutions.

Statistics show that clients using e-visits are just as satisfied with the effects of the therapy as those attending meetings in the office. What’s more, they feel the positive effects of the therapy for just as long after it has ended.

4. What is the price of consultation?

All information is included in the price list, which you will see when signing up for a given session and choosing a service.

5. Is one visit enough?

The duration of therapy is a very individual matter. Support in a crisis caused by temporary circumstances is definitely shorter than working on ailments that the client has been experiencing for years. However, in the vast majority of cases, one session is not enough to achieve the effects we expect.

6. What are acceptable forms of payment?

We accept payments via PayPal and using traditional bank transfer. In the case of patients with whom we work permanently, we arrange this individually, usually by bank transfer. This is a free (for buyers), easy and safe online payment system.

7. Is it possible to have psychotherapy outside the Internet?

We operate only in the form of online sessions. We have plans to conduct stationary sessions in Warsaw, but in the future. We will inform about it on our social media and on the website.

8. Can I receive an invoice?

We issue invoices at the patient’s request. If you would like to receive one, please write to us at: hello@e-sunbirds.com

9. Can I cancel session?

You can cancel your appointment at any time. However, if you cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment, we will not refund your money.

10. Can I change date?

If you want to reschedule your session, you cancel your current appointment and book a new appointment in the calendar. If there are more than 48 hours left until the session, you will receive a refund.

11. Why do you work online?

We want our help to reach everyone, including those for whom access to specialist help is limited for various reasons. People living in smaller towns or abroad, where language is a barrier, should also have this comfort and we want to provide it to them. Thousands of people have already used online therapy, and we are open to anyone who needs this support.

12. Do you speak any other language than English?

Absolutely, we provide advice in both Polish and English. We also provide psychotherapy in both languages.

14. Can an initial consultation last longer than 25 minutes?

If you see such a need, sign up for a psychological consultation.

15. What communicator will be used to conduct therapy?

We conduct sessions via Skype. You will receive your login in the return email confirming payment for the session.
